Worst thing that happens is we either put him back on waivers and lose him to someone else or Stockton get's some more depth. I see virtually no downside to putting a claim in on him.

You forgot we can trade him to Vancouver at the deadline for a 2nd round pick so they can reunite him with Sven! (Benning will miss the waiver wire process deadline and miss out tomorrow)
