Yep agreed. Canada is a lame market sportswise and would be a risky investment other than in Toronto. Expos and Grizzlies down the tube -- F1?

NBA and NFL should be looking at Europe/Asia for expansion. NFL could slowly move into the market as it looks they are but IMO the NBA could very rapidly move into some foreign markets and with great success. Basketball has universal appeal something that football and hockey will very likely NEVER have. Surprisingly so to a lesser extent does baseball. For instance the pro team in the city in China where I lived was becoming increasingly popluar and had a TV contact.

I hope Toronto gets in on the action!!!
