He has huge support for his mandate.

Repubs control all the levels because the American people voted that they want them to have control. This isn't some scheme against the Dems, they had their chance, and the American public did not care for what they were currently selling.

He won't be a liability to the country because he is president for one reason, to cement his legacy of success. He cares too much about what people think of him, he wants to be loved.

How do quantify success? He has gone bankrupt numerous times. He inherited his wealth from his father. Studies have shown that he would be richer had he simply put his inheritance into an index fund instead of his businesses. So, he has been less successful than had he simply let his money sit in the market. Despite all of his efforts, he has reduced his wealth from what it could have been.

How are you judging his intelligence? Having the ability to go bankrupt numerous times is not intelligence. From what I have read, he was not at the top of his graduating group. Is he above average intelligence? Yes, but how much far above an IQ of 100 is he? Also, there are numerous types of intelligence and I would bet he is low in several areas such as inter/intra personal intelligence. The most concerning lack of intelligence to me is his understanding of the world. He seems quite ignorant of world issues. Bullying and arrogance aren't going to mean much with many world leaders. In my opinion, Putin is highly intelligent and I think he will manipulate Trump at will. I think this manipulation began last week with the 'friendly' letter Putin sent to Trump. It looks like Putin already figured out he just has to stroke Trump's ego and now they are buddies.
