Now, I'm pretty sure that's not on the list of questions that Zogby international asks people over the phone. But if that were true, why would Democrats be enjoying a 20 point lead on the generic congressional ballot nationwide.
It sounds to me like you're confusing regional politics with national politics. In many districts, both candidates are either right or left, depending on what the voters want. The district I live in, for instance, is represented by an anti-war, pro-choice, pro-gun-control, pro-funding-for-the-arts, pro-labour REPUBLICAN. Is he a "wussy?"
Democrats will likely take control of the house in a few weeks. Possibly the Senate if the planets line up right, assuming the Dems don't screw it up again. But I guess the [QUOTE Dem's have completely thrown in the towel[/QUOTE]
