Cornerstone may get better, but from my understanding right now, the only access road in and out is through Skyview to Metis Trail. It can get really backed up during rush hour, in bad weather, because Metis the roads are out in the open and can get filled with snow easily. If they make more access roads, it is very convenient in terms of Stoney Trail for getting around.
For new neighbourhoods in general, the negatives I've found are: your house gets very dusty due to on-going construction, you have to start from scratch with fences, etc, and your street could be full of construction vehicles and dumpsters.
