Speaking of Obama and a bit off topic but what do folks think of Obama's performance as president? I know an American who thinks he's the devil or something.

Given the mess when he took over? I think he did alright at least domestically.
He was a little more hawkish than I thought he would be though.
I think he is one of those guys like Carter in that he will have a huge opportunity to make even bigger impacts as an ex-president. Not that I think Obama was a weak president as many would suggest Carter was, but just that he has genuine intentions to do good, but the office of president isn't necessarily the best platform to do it.
