Well, if you put the Canucks franchise in front of any man he'll look incompetent.
I always kinda thought of Torts as a mid-tier NHL coach, but oh boy does it look like he's got the right group of players for his coaching style this time around. I imagine it's also helped his current group that he's actually managed to show some restraint and not unleash full Tortorella wrath yet, we'll see how he handles them if/when they go on a bad stretch.
