The fix should be as painfully simple as delaying the audio and other cameras the same 1/5th of a second to match the video delay. BAM everything is in sync.

There's my point. Millions himself says "why worry" and tries to deflect the blame that falls 100% on Sportsnet to other completely unrelated issues. The on ice product, good or bad, has no correlation to Sportsnet providing a proper broadcast.
Why should we NOT get the same quality that the Oilers and Canucks get, Mr. Millions? If Gene Principe and who ever the Canucks use to do poor intermission interviews all get fresh hot coffee and still warm donuts while you get the last of the old pot and muffin bottoms, would you not feel annoyed? Would San Diego Chargers fans be fine knowing the end of a play before the ball is even snapped?
Sportsnet doesn't care if their presentation for the Flames is inferior to the Oilers and Canucks, 2 teams who have arena sponsorship deals with them. I'mve very happy I dumped my Rogers phone and switched so I'm not directly paying them a penny for anything.
As noted above this issue CAN be corrected and work properly. Sportsnet just doesn't care to provide consistent and proper quality. 5 years is 4 years and 11 months too many.
Apologies for the rant as I know I'm not a new poster here but it's just so utterly stupid to have to still be dealing with.
