This thread is 6 years old and still Sportsnet can't figure out how to get the play-by-play audio and on ice audio to be in sync with the video, and only for Flames games.
I've been tweeting @Sportsnet and @Rogers about it and the only response is from some customer service rep who thinks it's a problem with my Rogers account even after I explain I am watching on Shaw TV. I've tweeted to the Flames to see if they even care and got no response and I tweeted Roger Millions, who in this thread acknowledged he was aware of the problem and would talk to people at Sportsnet about it.
Oilers games, Canucks games, Leafs games and any other Canadian team games or solely American games do not suffer from this issue.
Last night's game Gaudreau shot and missed the net. You heard the puck hit the boards and Ball exclaim he misses wide before the shot it even taken.
Gio's first goal Ball yelled "SCORES!" before the puck was even on his stick.
A couple weeks ago when the Flames torched the Ducks was so bad even the highlights on the Flames website, provided by Sportsnet, suffered the same issue but to a lesser degree. Hamilton's sound of shooting the puck happens

Just one example that happened many multiple times that game, in previous games and in last night's game.
I don't care where the problem is, it needs to be fixed. If the OIlers in their Rogers sponsored building can have proper audio and the Canucks in their Rogers sponsored building can as well there is ZERO reason The Flames can't have the same.
If Roger Millions is reading then who ever you spoke to before obviously doesn't care. We are a week away from 2017 and the quality of broadcasts the Flames get saddled with is completely unacceptable. I don't care if the Flames have no sponsorship deals with Rogers outside of simply broadcasting the games. As a company Rogers is showing very specific bias with an hour long documentary on the building of a new arena in one city while shafting their paid for presentation of a team only 3 hours away.
And one last note to Rogers, when I'm watching a Flames game broadcast and you go to commercial to sell me your streaming service, doing so with a Connor McDived commercial instantly gets you zero dollars from my wallet. Get a clue and understand who your audience is.
