Post-game thoughts:
- The Sedins look as disinterested and frustrated as I've seen them in over a decade. Might have just seen the most errant passes from Henrik's stick in his career.
- Burrows is still the heart of the team from an effort perspective, but just doesn't have the skills he used to. Skates miles but not all that effective.
- Eriksson...what a terrible ****ing contract.
- Rodin looked meh. Obviously not up to NHL speed, doesn't look like he'll be much more of a player than Granlund. Definitely not a saviour.
- Bo is by far the best player on the team. Not even close.
- Tanev might be second but really doesn't have much help on the backend. Wheels have fallen off Stecher a bit, which was to be expected.
- Sbisa is still Sbisa. He's better, but still not a very good defenseman.
- Tryamkin needs to unload a clapper every once in a while. Dude just fires Tanev-like muffins at the net.
- Feel for Markstrom. Had a good game but will probably play 3 games in January after losing this one.
Fitting that Tkachuk scored the empty netter, just highlights even further what a mess this team is on and off the ice. What was the final tally, 11 shots?
Edit: Ah, 14. At least they cracked double digits...
