How so? What do you expect him to say or do? I think King's contributions to the Flames and their ownership has been for the most part very positive as he's the man that started the organizational turnaround in 2001. I didn't like the meddling into hockey operations but that's been taken care of. Honestly there are some here so opposed to CalgaryNEXT that there's nothing positive he could ever do in their eyes. All this shows me is that King and the Flames are willing to listen to the city's proposal as there's been no kicking and screaming and if anything it's been Nenshi that's been contentious (that's his nature so I don't think that would matter what the project was) throughout the process. I think the city really doesn't have a clue about what it will cost to renovate McMahon and that's going to be the sticking point as the Flames already looked into that and concluded it wasn't feasable. Fieldhouse in the NW is great for those of us that live on the north side of the city though.
