Every single VW diesel sold in Canada would still pollute less than pickup trucks in Calgary alone. I find it hard to care about that kind of stuff as long as the EPA continues to let the domestics off the hook with the loopholes for SUV's and light trucks. If the EPA was really serious they would all fall under gas guzzler tax but they know that would cripple the domestic who make most of their money off SUV and truck sales.
