Ya I think people pay to much attention to 5 seconds and one line of a 2.5 hour movie.
We get the point, they wanted to get Leia involved in it, whether she was animated, CGIed, newly cast or George Lucas in drag we get the point of it and it was a great idea to end the movie that way.
