I simply don't agree. No one is foolish enough to assume we are getting the same Iginla that we traded 4 years ago when he was already 35 years old. The nostalgia for me is seeing him play his last few games in the sweater he wore the majority of his career. To get the proper send off from the fanbase that he means so much to.
If Calgary is in the playoffs and he gets to give it one last push with the team he came oh so close to winning with 13 years ago I say let's do it even if he is not a regular in the lineup.
