Sure... but that's the way it's going to go because those opposing the NDP will have had no issue whatsoever claiming the opposite. No one has any incentive to all of a sudden take up the cause of intellectual honesty. Governments and supporters claim all the credit and deflect all the blame, opposition and supporters deflect all credit and lay all the blame. Just the way it goes.

C'mon, no it isn't... not broadly anyways. They're behind in the polls because the economy is sour, if the economy is decent by the next election they'll probably get re-elected if it isn't they probably won't. The who, what, where, when, and why's of that are pretty much immaterial.
