I feel like I have watched a tennis match for 10 pages...

I would have iginla back at the deadline with a whole bunch of conditions.

it would have to be for really cheap...like Colorado doing him a favour...i'm thinking really low like 7th rounder or less (ie future considerations)...at 12:59 on a 1:00 deadline. Please do not overpay Flames under any circumstances.

Flames would have to be legit for the playoffs; not a wildcard/bubble team.

For me, and I realize that this is in disagreement to a large majority of this thread, I haven't seen iginla play much since he left the flames so I have no idea about his current game.

we have seen greybeards contribute on and off the ice for playoff teams; teams seem to rally behind players like that.

If iginla is coverage for playoff injuries, great! RH PP shot also wanted.

It can't be for totally nostalgic reasons though...

so yes to coming back, but with so many caveats that it probably doesn't make it possible.
