How an expensive soon to be 40 year old player who is barely holding his head above water with a history of questionable baggage will positively contribute to this team is still something that needs to be explained. I Feel like Conroy might but I also don't think he would have enough pull/say to actually make anything happen. They were real good buddies when they played together, I would imagine they still are. But I agree it doesn't mean this will/should happen, just making a point on your comment
