You want to compare him to Crosby? Okay.
Crosby's post ELC contract was 5 x $8.7M. If we project it to what we think the cap will be in 2 years ($75-77M), we're probably looking at a deal in the neighbourhood of 5 x $11.5 - $11.8M
To me, 4 or 5 years in the $11.5 - $12 range is what I would expect (very similar to Crosby)
If the Oilers want 6 to 8 years, it will be north of $12M
(that is just about what everyone here has been saying)
