You don't put the dog down because the dog has nothing to do with it (unless you rode your dog to the street corner). Your house? Well obviously that is a private place not like in the middle of a back alley.
Without their car it would be much harder to these losers to go down town and do what they do.
It is the same reason why they seize your vehicle when you smuggle something into the country. It is the devise that helps carry out the act.
What kind of arguement is "not everyone owns a vehicle" so it's not fair. by that logic we should be issuing speeding ticket fines based on income because some people make a lot more money than i do so it is not fair that I have to pay a fine the same as someone who makes twice as much as me. Come on.
