Here you say he got a small salary, make up your mind and don't just post for your convenience and your argument.
He signed for $2.5 million, not some totally unaffordable number. Why else do you think they didn't sign him? Because he badly wanted to be a Flame and it still didn't happen.
Read your last 20 posts, they're filled with so much whining and crying it's actually amazing you enjoy yourself here. You can call me out all you want, thats all you do anyways on this board. I was called worse things when I suggested Colborne wouldn't be and shouldn't be qualified and guess what? He wasn't. maybe I know more about hockey then you'd like to admit. Colborne will be out of the league pretty soon and likely bought out at the end of the year because all the things I said about him since day 1 are true. He has no heart and plays with no passion. He showed it with the Leafs, showed it with the Flames and now with the Avs.

A high offer compared to what we were looking to pay, yes. How is that difficult to grasp - especially with the timing? Was it seriously lost on you that at the time we were on the verge of negotiating all summer with Monahan and Johnny with no idea how close we'd be to fitting them in? Context. It's important.
Speaking of context... you referring back to a passing comment fishing for convenient arguments just showed you expected we'd receive something via trade for Colborne when you feel he's terrible and not and NHLer. Well played.
I couldn't care less that you want to spin me calling you on your negative garbage whining. I'm not the only one to have done it. This is just another example in a long line of you being ignorant about something and going right to the buzz words terrible and horrible. It's awful to read.
Colborne would not have fit with us at that price tag given our cap situation... but he was good when he was here and won a community achievement award three years in a row. Your bashing him and calling him a bad influence is inexcusable, and outright ignorant. It's typical of the kinds of awful over-statements you make on a regular basis.
