The Indians and Rangers are two teams linked to Encarnacion, though USA Today's Bob Nightengale reported earlier on Wednesday that the Rangers may not have the money to bring him into the fold. The veteran slugger looks unlikely to sign with a team before the end of the Winter Meetings. Toronto is moving forward with recent additions Kendrys Morales and Steve Pearce.
