The Transformers movies are what they are. Michael Bay movies staring Meghan Fox and Marky Mark about giant robots.
The Autobots are good guys and the Decepticons are bad guys. Some new threat is introduced, which threatens the Earth. The good guys win. What do people expect? And yes, the movies do tie into each other. Characters die. The Autobots are accepted, then their feared, then accepted again...it's not Shakespeare here.

No I'm really not I was genuinely curious. As I said I haven't seen one since the 2nd one, and the new trailer has me intrigued cuz it looks kind of cool. I was just wondering if there's an overarching story here. He seems to have carte blanche, so I curious if he does some fun things with story at all. I liked the first Transformers
