Seems like more Transformers talk here so i'll pose this question here.

I haven't seen a Transformers since the 2nd one. Do they form any sort of almost cohesive storyline?

I mean, Michael seems to have basically unlimited cash to make these things. I don't even want to think about how much they're paying actors who can do pretty much whatever they want to be in these (Anthony Hopkins?!). You'd think they could plot out like 7-8 movies that at least relate to each other.

The newest trailer had me slightly intrigued.
