His plus/minus is ranked 7th on the team. Flawed stat I know, but if you compare it to teammates it does represent something worthwhile.

He's been better than I expected. He's not a highly skilled player, but he does a lot of little things right, forechecks well, and helps to get the puck to our skilled guys. Anything else he does on top of that is gravy.

He's also been signed to a 1.2 million dollar salary. It's been a great low risk signing. Just because he was slotted to play on the first line for a bit does not mean that's what he was signed for. He is outperforming his contract to be honest, which is good for us.
As an aside Lance Bouma has 1 point in 13 games on a 2.1 million dollar contract.
