I'm watching society in America slowly crumble because of an inability of media to inform people properly, and for the slow an insidious spread of misinformation.

I know it's just sports, but it's symptomatic of the real problems facing all of us: How can we trust any reporting ever?

Some may argue that we should all be smart enough to determine whether a report is trustworthy or not, but when did we all have to go to journalism school just to get some basic information? Why do we have to understand the inherent bias of some publications over another? Whatever happened to reporting facts that were actually verified? Not just from one source, but multiple sources?

No, sorry, it's bull####, and I'm tired of media members getting a pass because the new format allows for them to #### up their reports sometimes. Edward R. Murrow would be rolling over in his grave if he saw the state of reporting today.

So, yeah, I'll continue to bitch about it because I deserve better from my reporters, regardless of the topic they are covering.

Yah, were things were just fine down there until the media screwed it up.........
