I covered this in a previous post, a lengthy post IIRC but Roger has one side of that story, a story he's spun to make himself look big and others afraid to face him. So many falsehoods that it makes my brain burn. I'm not talking about about your rift with him MMF. I asked him to set up a meet and greet with CP members at Shanks, and he obliged. Cameras in tow to discuss the woes of the Flames at that time. Many committed, very few showed, and he ended up with a very embarrassing piece that got relegated to an online Sportsnet piece by no fault of his own.
And I don't blame him. It was almost cringe worthy, and also reinforced a lot of the 'online community' stereotypes. 90% of it had to be cut, it was bad. And I felt bad for asking after it was all said and done.
I know you and him have some sort of yin and yang thing. But if he is being piled on, I feel somewhat obligated to give a counterpoint as well. As I have had nothing but good experiences and cool stories to share about Roger.
