The Giants have to get there first. With Dallas, Detroit, Philly and Washington coming in they might be hard pressed to do better than 9-7, which might be good enough this year for a Wild Card. But what they did in the past doesn't mean much, they aren't the same fearsome pass rush they were then. That's why Kansas City and Denver have to be feared still because even with the unspectacular QB play the defense is terrific with the ability to rush the passer with just four guys. Giants don't have that right now. Most teams don't. If Kansas City or Denver had Derek Carr they'd be the strong favorites right now.
