This link from Spector has some quotes from some scouts and I can def. see that being the case with Hamilton. The Flames signed him to a major contract and the results in his season and a half haven't been top notch. Remember, this is also a guy who's earning over a million a year extra that Brodie.
I like Hamilton but sometimes the love affair with some players is mind boggling. IF you can replace him for 60% of his AAV with a similar player, don't sit here and tell me the Flames are going to keep him around cause he's a "good kid"
I just think something happened that the Flames weren't happy got out. Leaks are leaks and they come from team employee's and players, nothing special about this particular leak other than Burkie losing it on multiple media outlets.

Where on earth are we going to find a player similar to Hamilton for 60 percent of his aav?
