Basically it was a star inside of the death star.
Probably pretty low emissions as well. You can say a lot of things about the Empire. they killed people, enslaved aliens took away individual liberties, but environmentally they were probably low emissions. Yup no climate change in the GFFA, well except for Alderaan that is.
