In the midst of terrible tragedies small glimmers of compassion like this need to be recognized to serve as an example to all. Tragedies will continue to happen, the most important part of them is emerging from the other side remaining human. That way we can dignify the struggle of mankind by living on as others dear have passed.
I'd like to see the engraving read something like:
ATLETICO NATIONAL COLOMBIA
presents this Trophy in memorium of the tragic loss of
CHAPECOENSE BRASIL
as they travelled to compete for it as sportsmen.
