I've spent some time looking at this a year or 2 ago when it came out, and it just leads to so many questions. I think they have a neat technology, but beyond the gee-wiz factor I'm suspicious of it's application. Houses in Hawkwood, for example, have vastly different ratings yet they were all built at the same time so should be fairly similar.
My house shows a big red blob, and a smaller one. They correspond to the chimney and bathroom vent. The rest of the house is pretty even. I've got one corner that I know has no insulation in my kitchen, as the temp can be 10 degrees colder in the winter, yet it shows the same as the rest of the house. My neighbour's house was rebuilt about 5 years ago(teardown, replaced with same size bungalow). My house is from 55. They got a worse heat score than me. I would expect a brand new construction of a similar size house to have better insulation than a 60 year old one.
