Interesting to see the differences based on each neighbourhood in the city
Seems bunk to me. I immediately noticed that the houses on my street that have basement suites were orange or red. It appears to be a function of how much energy is used in each house. The ones that have suites use more. Then if you look at streets with walkouts, they're all more red or orange than the ones without. Probably because most of them have developed basements. Look at the expensive neighbourhoods and look around the lakes or parks. They all have developed basements and often walkouts and they're all darker than the plebs that live across the street. And yeah, I bet all the 10 year old houses in Aspen are wasting more energy than the 50 year old houses in Forest Lawn. It might have something to do with square footage.
