About techs, I also have to think that with no body shown, Elsie isn't dead. I like the theory that Elsie suspected Bernard being a host, and while being attacked by him, was able to issue the shutdown command. Then Elsie erased the memory from Bernard, and sent him back into the world (well, the park), while spying on him.
Elsie then sends out a signal, prompting her reluctantly trustworthy Hemsworth pal to come find her in her hiding spot, possibly aided by some overridden Ghost Nation to help ensure Hemsworth found her alright.
Or else of course she could have been replaced by a bot, and becomes Ford's new inside (wo)man.
