I get where you're coming from, and I think I'd prefer if he did things the way you're suggesting. But this is sort of how he managed to get people to like them, they think he's authentic because he just says things without filtering them through the machinery that leads to carefully worded statements and carefully drafted press releases by some communications person. It makes people think he's talking to them directly, which some people take as a form of honesty even if the content of the tweets is complete BS.
I would be pretty surprised if he doesn't just keep doing this throughout his Presidency.
