This is true, but Bossy was more of a pure goal scorer and wasn't really a setup guy. Basically you knew he was going to shoot the puck and still couldn't stop him. With Wayne, he might shoot, or he might pass to basically anyone on the ice (who are also all-stars) and they'd put it by you. Here are their goal totals when their careers overlapped.

1978-79: Gretzky 43 (WHA), Bossy 69
1979-80: Gretzky 51, Bossy 51
1980-81: Gretzky 55 Bossy 68
1981-82: Grezky 92 (lolol) Bossy 64
1982-83: Gretzky 71 Bossy 60
1983-84: Gretzky 87, Bossy 51
1984-85: Gretzky 73, Bossy 58
1985-86: Gretzky 52, Bossy 61
1986-87: Gretzky 62, Bossy 38 (injured, retired)
