Hawks Beat The Snot Out Of Nords

The home town fans were treated to a display of gluttony tonight as the Hawks embarrassed the visiting Nords outscoring them 9-2. Roberto Luongo came into this game labeled the only player on the Nords worthy of being on the team. Evidently this statement,

"I'm just glad I got rid of him (Savard), and picked up Luongo. There's no way I would want Savard at 5+, but that's why I'm the GM in Quebec. And that's probably why I only have Luongo and some washed up retiring has-beens on my roster."

by the Nords GM was meant to fire up the team. It had the opposite effect as player after player looked like they were competing for a ticket out of town!

The Hawks have struggled since the beginning of the season, but are perhaps beginning to gel under the apparent trade

moratorium of the GM.
