My niece received this letter from her property management company, and it kind of stunned me. My first reaction is to tell her not to sign it, but the more I think about it, I am bewildered by the whole situation.
If something happens as the result of this, does this absolve the company of any liability? I assume the answer is no, but what's the point of having her sign and return it?
Something just seems odd about it.
Any thoughts?
