Top Gear was at its best when the presenters where able to react naturally so, just get to it.

But, I liked the fact that they made fun of the Star in a reasonably priced car segment (AKA the part everyone skips). Maybe Clarkson has finally realized he will never get a chat show. Boggles my mind that Chris Evans thought that making that segment longer was a good idea.

The cars and car segments were awesome.
I thought I was the only one that skipped ASIARPC segment. They were super boring.

The teaser that the guys did at the beginning of the series showed off some really great segments. With the seemingly unlimited budget that they have this is series is going to be magnificent. I wonder if they'll still be able to do those crazy challenges (e.g. race to X location in Y car).

For those that are lucky enough, they are shooting this show in 4K. I wonder if when the show comes Canada-side if that resolution will be available. Going a bit further, and a little off topic, I wonder if the release of The Grand Tour in Canada is the precursor to the launch of Amazon Prime video in Canada.
