Is it any different than any other season though? We are seeing that teams with a 20-25 million dollar QB can have depth issues, and struggle to compete no matter how good Brees, Luck, or Rogers are.

On the flip side, the Tyrod Taylor, and Fitzpatrick price range veteran isn't getting those teams that extra level of play to get to the playoffs.

There is a range in between where the team can make the playoffs, but ultimately can't seem to push past a certain ceiling like the Chiefs and Alex Smith.

The price for QB's is always resetting and with the current guys like Russel Wilson and Andrew Luck now making bigger money, it's a matter of teams being able to manage around that to get the rest of their rosters in place.

I think we'll see more teams try to go young if they don't have the elite guy and try to squeeze the mid tier market down. The guys like Smith, Cutler, Flacco who are all starter level guys, but don't drive elite level offences. Teams need to get those guys down to the Taylor type cap number.
