Ferland was mentioned earlier in the thread and it is correct that he does not need to take runs to hit and hit hard. Watch the reactions of the guys that he hits. Most are stunned or legit hurt after the hit. Not injured, but you can tell that they just HURT.

I thought I saw somewhere that another player said that Ferland has the hardest punch in the league as well.
