Guess it depends on the person...actually makes me feel my frustration with the matter has merit and I take it as a direct apology to me, the fan. It curbs my anger, somewhat. Also, I would bet you'd have far more instances of being "pissed" if the threat of public shaming wasn't there. I just really believe it cuts down, even if only a little, on the kind of instances we're discussing.
