The league has no pressure to enforce slashing rules. Season is probably done for the Flames. You know opposition teams are going to continue when Johnny gets back so if I were in charge of the Flames I would try to take out every teams star player with a two handed slash till the league starts enforcing the slashing rule. If the league tries to crack down on you tell them it's just part of the game that stars have to deal with.
