And the thing about slashing is it adds nothing to the game. It's not a like a big hit, or a scrum in the corner. There's no passion or intensity that gets fans amped up. It's just a meaningless cheap play that can break bones. Why hasn't it been cracked down on with the same deliberate consistency as hooking and holding?
