I can't criticize Gio or Brouwer. Huge complaints and threats can risk discipline if something happens down the road. Officials also don't like to be publicly called out and will bear a grudge (back channel or management criticism probably works better). And they probably don't want to instill a "woe is me" attutude for the rest of the team. They as players may feel they have to move forward, not look backwards.
