Did we not make the playoffs with Wideman playing like 30 minutes a night? I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt with the speedy Brodie to cover for his foot speed issues. I prefer him on the top four over Jokipakka or Engelland, and Kulak might need more NHL experience before we throw him to the dogs. I also think Wideman is probably our best penalty killer on the right side.
