Have you ever been to Phoenix? Just curious. Tempe is easily accessible for Scottsdale residents, as it is directly north of Tempe, compared to Glendale. Placing the stadium by the University you target both the wealthy Scottsdale crowd as well as the students in Tempe.

Also I'm not sure where you are getting your info on students leaving post graduation, if you have some solid statistics please share otherwise that is pure speculation. My brother and a friend of mine both graduated from ASU, my brother from Calgary and my friend from San Jose, both now live and work full time in Phoenix. Not a huge sample size obviously but 2 experiences I'm familiar with.

New Era mentioned the benefits of living in the Phoenix area. I also believe more vacationing/transplanted Canadians live closer to Tempe, than either Scottsdale or Glendale. That will also help.
