OSU was definitely cheering for Michigan, the announcers were explaining it prior to the Iowa FG attempt. OSU needed Michigan to win to set up a three way tie for the division. Now even if they win out Penn State holds the tie breaker.
That said the Big 10 has been great this year so should get 2 teams in the playoff. If OSU wins out they will be one of them.
