He still isn't a first line player on the best team in the NHL, don't be silly. He's a nice bottom forward who recently got a chance to play more minutes with better players because he's playing great and adding energy. I've always liked Byron and his little stint playing with skilled players isn't why. It still pisses me off that he was let go for nothing.
He's a player the Flames badly needed last year and this season.
