While this may be all part of negotiating. I feel compelled to say F you. This team is amongst the most supported around the league and what do we have to show for it? They've won 5 playoff rounds in 27 years! Move to Seattle or whatever. Good luck getting that same support if you don't win ####.
We'd have another NHL team eventually. One that won't be asking for a free stadium for their football team.
