If we don't find a solution to someone to play with Sean and Johnny, would there not be any validity in trying something off the wall like giving Wideman a go on RW with them?
Offensive player that can shoot and had some PP chemistry with Johnny. Too slow to play D regularly but you could give him some PP time on the point as well. Ideally artificially inflate his numbers going to the trade deadline.
(This also assumes that you want the kids in the AHL to stay down and develop more before bringing them up.)
